I have been working in financial services for nearly 15 years. I started in a pensions technical role, which gave me a good grounding before progressing to be an adviser.
Most people now have a mixture of pensions, some that can date back 40 years, from both company and private pensions – one of the aspects I enjoy most is cutting through the jargon and showing clients that pensions are not as scary as they think!
Financial planning can often be a balancing act between short and long term needs. We all have a limited pot of money and it is choosing how best to use that pot that can be daunting. Our job is to help understand your needs and wants, and try to help you prioritise your money.
I am a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner.

I have been working in financial services since 2001 and I am one of less than 1000 female chartered financial planners in the UK.
Financial Planning can be both complex and incredibly personal. As such I strive to offer that personal touch with the professionalism of appropriate advice. I aim to establish a long term relationship with all my clients, addressing immediate needs and also the long term objectives.
My specialism is tax efficient investment planning.
I appreciate that there is an advice gap and understand that people starting their careers or families also require advice both now and in the future and welcome the opportunity to discuss this.
