- How we work
- Financial Planning
- Wealth Management
Before we undertake any work, we like to take the time to have a quick chat with you. We will then ask you to complete a questionnaire giving us a greater insight into your finances.
Following this we will then typically arrange a meeting. This no-obligation meeting, which can either be face-to-face, over the telephone or Skype, will usually take around 45 minutes to an hour.
This will give you the opportunity to get to know us and we can find out more about you. We will talk to you about your goals and financial objectives, be they to determine how much to save for retirement, reduce your tax bill, etc.
Following the meeting we will then write to you, outlining the areas or policies that we can assist you with.
Once we have your consent to proceed, we will then undertake research and prepare a financial plan for you. To see how we have helped our clients please click on our financial planning pages.
Once we have implemented your plan we will then agree the next review point to see how it is progressing.
At Abbotstone we value all of our clients as individuals. Our aim is to establish an ongoing relationship with our clients.
Following changes to legislation in 2012, a new era of professionalism was introduced into financial services.
Advisers now have to reach a higher standard of qualification and charges became clearer.
Abbotstone has embraced these changes. We are a professional financial services firm who work for and with you. By moving away from % charging we offer a more cost effective service to our clients.
All our fees are clear and based on the complexity and time involved, rather than a fixed % of your assets. Therefore each of our clients know they are being charged fairly for the service they require. As our client you decide what services you want from us.
We understand that each client's needs and requirements are different. Some clients require little annual management; some a lot - we make sure that you only pay for the services you receive.
